I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Chair of HR Working Group?of Vietnam Business Forum. My name is?Nicola Connolly and I am the Country Manager for the Adecco Group?s operations in Vietnam, based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Prior to joining the Adecco Group in 2010, I helped establish the first 100% foreign invested company to perform employment services in Vietnam and was responsible for the signing of the historic first public ? private partnership MOU with MOLISA in Vietnam in record time for an international company. With over 20 years experience in recruitment and HR Solutions, 8 of those years based in Vietnam, my involvement in human resources has also seen me active in successfully government lobbying for changes to employment legislation, through my Chair of the HR and Training Committee for EuroCham and also Head of HR Service Providers in Vietnam.
The MOLISA has requested in the 11th?Jan 2013 meeting a regional comparison with several countries in Asia Pacific and I would like to have your assistance in filling this in. Also we have compiled a quick and easy Work Permit Survey which we would request members complete. I have sent this survey through EuroCham before and the MOLISA was very interested in the results. We have a very tight deadline so I would appreciate if these can both be completed by?Friday February 1, 2013 COB.?
Once completed I will co?ordinate with members for the latest paper and survey results to be distributed to MOLISA, and set up a VBF HR Group Meeting in March.
