Microsoft to not have CES booth after 2012

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Microsoft is taking some of the energy out of next month's consumer electronics show here in Las Vegas. The tech giant says next month's CES show will be last time the company has a participating booth.

Microsoft has been one of the biggest U.S. participants in the event. Company leaders say they will continue to use CES as a place to connect with customers, but it won't have a booth because its product milestones don't work with the shows timing in January.

CES runs January 9-12.
